King's Fertility at Harley Street

A new, fully equipped, compact IVF facility has been established for King's Fertility on Harley Street. This project was situated within the limited space of historic Georgian terraced townhouses. A21 coordinated the integration of services with the existing building structure while ensuring a high standard of finishes using durable materials, reflecting the signature design A21 has developed in collaboration with The Fetal Medicine Foundation over the years.

The lower ground floors of 137 & 139 Harley Street were merged to accommodate an HFEA-compliant IVF laboratory and procedure room. Due to the compact nature of the site, close collaboration with the King's Fertility team and the Fetal Medicine Foundation was essential to optimize the design ergonomics and make the most of the available space.

The project also involved renovating the upper levels to include office space, changing rooms, consulting rooms, and upgraded WCs. On the lower ground floor, the facility features an IVF laboratory, procedure room, sample room, cryobank, medical gases, UPS system, lightwell lift, air handling unit, accessible WC, plant and services, and associated utility spaces.
