The Fetal Medicine Research Institute enables the integration of NHS services with cutting-edge research, education, and clinical practice in the field of fetal medicine.
The white Portland feature columns rise from the ground and curve to shape the arched roof of the building. They enclose the main clinical and public spaces, establishing a serene and engaging environment for those who use them. The sweeping feature columns in the glass atrium create a striking focal point at the entrance, symbolizing the aspirations of the new unit to enhance the quality of care for pregnant women and their unborn children.
